I saw a hitchhiking turtle today.
Driving to work, I saw a turtle attempting to hitch a ride from the side of the road. I feel that words cannot tell a proper picture, so here we go. The turtle looked like this:
However, instead of walking/crawling/making its way across a road, it was hanging out on the curb with one hand/claw pointed clearly in the upwards direction. I chuckled.
Sadly, I could not offer this turtle a ride. I hope some nice person picked him up and took him to where he had to go. And I hope some mean person didn’t stop and flip him over onto his shell, because you know turtles can’t handle that stuff.
